On October 25, 2018, Shuanglin held the "Shuanglin Group 2018 Annual Quality System Work Summary & Quality Month Event Commendation Meeting" in Shanghai in order to effectively implement the company's quality policy of "practicing TQM and exceeding customers' expectations", fully mobilize the quality awareness and work passion of all employees, ensure the mutual exchanges and learning among various business divisions and promote the simultaneous improvement of quality management level of all business divisions.
More than 60 people have attended the meeting, including Gu Xiaoying and Chen Youfu, General Manager and Vice-general Manager of the joint-stock company respectively; Qian Xueming, Vice-general Manager of the joint-stock company and General Manager of Auto Electromechanical Division; Liu Xudong, General Manager of the Auto Accessories Division; Wang Huizhong, Vice-general Manager of Power Assembly Division; Ge Shunjun, Vice-general Manager of Xinhuoju Technology; Wang Pan, General Manager of Deyang Electronics; Zhou Min, Director of Technical Quality Department of the joint-stock company; along with quality directors of each division, relative leaders, principals and representatives in charge of quality management from each factory. Zhou Min, Director of Technical Quality Department of the joint-stock company, presided over the meeting, and Chen Youfu, Vice-general Manager of the joint-stock company, made the opening speech.
6 core links, making the meeting a "brics" summit on improving quality management
The meeting was divided into 6 core links, including report and evaluation of quality month event results by each division, selection for Shuanglin quality awards, sharing and selection of excellent quality management cases, launch of Shuanglin QIS system, release of quality tool manual, and quality Workshop seminar. Various means such as summary, presentation, sharing, evaluation, commendation and discussion, allow the participants to fully summarize and present the annual quality management achievements of 2018 and deeply explore ideas and directions for the future quality management construction by brainstorming.
Overall design is critical to quality management. Therefore, as the first link of the meeting, the quality principals of each business division systematically summarized the planning, implementation and implementation effect of the 2018 quality month event. In this quality month event, the Auto Accessories Division was fully prepared and achieved excellent implementation effect, and its working method can be further popularized and applied, thus winning the "Excellent Organization Award" of this quality month event according to the comprehensive assessment of the review team.
Factory is the first site of quality management and even the first "responsible person". To establish the benchmark and become a model unit of quality management, Shuanglin Electronics Factory of the Auto Accessories Division, Hubei Xinhuoju Technology Co., Ltd., and Jining Factory of the Power Assembly Division shared experience in quality management from the aspects of significantly improving customers' satisfaction and effectively reducing internal/external quality loss rate and so on respectively, and won the honor of "Shuanglin Quality Award - Gold, Silver and Bronze".
Genuine knowledge comes from practice. Everything, big or small, matters to quality management. Only when every small team takes action can "practice the TQM" be truly realized. In the quality month event of 2018, lots of good practices, ideas and results emerged from the grassroots "quality teams" of various factories. Totally seven cases, including the management experience of the loudspeaker production team (Auto Accessories Division/Shuanglin Electronics Factory); the experience in PPM reduction related to F092 ignition coil pouring (Auto Accessories Division/Anhui Wuhu Factory); product relocation planning (Auto Accessories Division/Xincheng Second Factory); reduction of actuator noise by poor PPM (Auto Electromechanical Division/Ninghai Transmission Factory); 6AT gearbox quality improvement (Power Assembly Division); cleanliness management improvement (Hubei Xinhuoju Technology Co., Ltd.); and the experience in reducing stator turn-to-turn defect rate (Shandong Deyang Electronics Factory) were shared on site by each division after carefully combing. Furthermore, based on the scope of participants, effect on quality awareness improvement of the entire staff, effect on product quality improvement, effect on customers' satisfaction improvement, standardization of management results, and promotion value, etc., the cases - "the management experience of the loudspeaker production team (Auto Accessories Division/Shuanglin Electronics Factory)", "the experience in PPM reduction related to F092 ignition coil pouring (Auto Accessories Division/Anhui Wuhu Factory)", and "reduction of actuator noise by poor PPM (Auto Electromechanical Division/Ninghai Transmission Factory)" were selected as the winners of "Outstanding Achievement Publishing Award of Quality Management" this year, which gave full recognition to the work of each quality management "team".
Zhou Min, Director of Technical Quality Department, introduced the company's direction of quality management in 2019, which can be summarized in five aspects, namely, collectivization, institutionalization, platform, standardization and transparency. The Quality Tools Manual was prepared as a compilation of important contents such as quality management methods, models, processes and tools preliminarily collected by the Technical Quality Department for the improvement of overall quality management level and construction of platform in company , and was released in the conference with Quality Information Management System (QIS) to guide various units to improve the quality management level scientifically in the future.
Step by step, keep perfecting to catch up with leaders
After the award presentation, Gu Xiaoying and Chen Youfu, General Manager and Vice-general Manager of the joint-stock company respectively; Qian Xueming, Vice-general Manager of the joint-stock company and General Manager of Auto Electromechanical Division; Liu Xudong, General Manager of the Auto Accessories Division; Wang Huizhong, Vice-general Manager of Power Assembly Division; Ge Shunjun, Vice-general Manager of Xinhuoju Technology; Wang Pan, General Manager of Deyang Electronics, etc. separately set out their expectations for quality management in 2019 to participants.
First of all, General Manager Gu Xiaoying affirmed the effect of this year's quality month event and the convening of the quality conference, and also pointed out that great attention should be paid to customer complaints for better quality management; quality management be increasingly transparent; our efforts be concentrated on improving major quality problems; the investment in new process and technology be strengthened, and the preliminary planning of quality be optimized, so as to improve the quality pass rate and reduce the quality loss. General Manager Gu Xiaoying encouraged the participants to continuously give full play to their kinetic energy and set a good example in their daily work, so as to make continuous progress together with Shuanglin.
After the meeting, adhering to the philosophy of "one step ahead of others", relevant leaders and participants discussed the quality workshop in groups with the theme of "how to improve the quality management level of Shuanglin", which plays an important role in quality management planning for next year and subsequent years.
